My work brings economic theory, modern programme evaluation and applied microeconometric techniques to questions of policy design and evaluation.

RESEARCH INTERESTS themes & methods

My research sits at the intersection of social protection, programme evaluation, and applied microeconometrics.

I have been involved in numerous projects with academics and government agencies across Latin America and Africa, advising on the design and evaluation of cash-transfer programmes in Colombia and Morocco, co-authoring a reference book on Poverty and Social Protection in Colombia for the UNDP, and contributing academic papers on social protection in Colombia and Mexico.
