I am an Independent Researcher in Economics with more than twenty years of professional and academic experience in social protection and poverty alleviation in developing countries.
My work brings economic theory, modern programme evaluation and applied microeconometric techniques to questions of policy design and evaluation.

My research sits at the intersection of social protection, programme evaluation, and applied microeconometrics.
I have been involved in numerous projects with academics and government agencies across Latin America and Africa, advising on the design and evaluation of cash-transfer programmes in Colombia and Morocco, co-authoring a reference book on Poverty and Social Protection in Colombia for the UNDP, and contributing academic papers on social protection in Colombia and Mexico.
